He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We are looking for a Product Manager – Technology to join our Digital and Service Design team on a permanent, full-time basis.In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Technology Agile Release Train (ART), providing product leadership across a complex technology landscape that includes networks, security, core enterprise platforms (SAP and Salesforce), integration, automation, infrastructure, cloud, and database services.You will bring a strong background in enterprise technology product management, operating within a scaled agile (SAFe) delivery model, and have proven experience translating organisational strategy into prioritised, outcome-focused technology roadmaps and backlogs.
We are looking for someone who has:
-Knowledge of enterprise technology platforms and services, including networking, security, cloud, infrastructure, core business platforms, and integration architectures
-Familiarity with frameworks such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), large technology platform change and operations,
-Experience with leading and operating within an Agile Release Train, including PI planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, and cross-team alignment
-An understanding of how to balance strategic initiatives, operational stability, and technical enablers in a large, complex organisation
-Ideally 8–12 years of experience with a background in technology delivery or product management within a large enterprise, government, or regulated industry
-Strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills, particularly when working across multiple business units, delivery teams, and senior leaders
-Experience in prioritising and managing a product backlog that is clearly aligned to business outcomes, value delivery, and organisational strategy
