He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

Our Property team is recruiting for two proactive Facilities Coordinators to support the smooth operation of our venues and ensure they are safe, compliant, well maintained, and event-ready. Working closely with Lead Facility Managers, venue operations teams, and the wider Property unit, these roles play a key part in supporting day-to-day operations and event delivery across a 24/7 environment. Reporting to the Lead Facility Manager and operating within a matrix structure, the Facilities Coordinators help ensure strong communication, efficient maintenance delivery, and a high standard of venue presentation, with occasional out-of-hours support required for events.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Supporting facilities operations to ensure venues are safe, compliant, well maintained, and ready for events and daily use.
  • Coordinating with contractors, service providers, and internal teams to deliver planned and reactive maintenance and support projects.
  • Working alongside event and operational teams to ensure effective planning, communication, and venue readiness for events and productions.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement, sustainability initiatives, and best-practice facility management across the portfolio.

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

This role is suited to someone with a solid foundation in facilities, property, or event operations, supported by at least two years’ relevant experience. A current New Zealand driver’s licence is required. Experience working in complex stakeholder environments is important, along with a sound understanding of facilities management practices, including compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements. The role requires someone comfortable operating in dynamic environments and supporting both day-to-day operations and event delivery.

  • The ability to problem-solve and develop practical solutions to complex facilities challenges.
