About this role
The Biomedical Equipment Technician Internship responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Learn about and assist with electrical safety inspections, preventive maintenance inspections, & calibrations
- Assist with identifying and rectifying any equipment deficiencies per manufacturer’s specifications
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all medical equipment, network hardware, and infrastructure managed by the Clinical Engineering Department
- Ensure all medical equipment meets regulatory standards and complete all documentation with regards to inventory, inspection, repair, parts ordering, and device labeling before equipment is returned to service
