About this role
This position is directly responsible for the efficient and effective merchandising, servicing and developing of assigned accounts. This position functions under the leadership of the Territory Manager.
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, (Sat or Sun) *Weekend work required for this position*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maximize sales and distribution of all Atlanta Beverage Company products and packages in each assigned account.
- Ensure all Atlanta Beverage Company products are merchandised and handled effectively and efficiently.
- Merchandise and stock all coolers within established Company guidelines.
- Set up, merchandise and maintain all promotion displays.
- Display all products by brand, utilizing available point of sale to stimulate sales.
- Ensure backroom/cooler area is neat and orderly in customer accounts.
- Operate all Company vehicles in a safe, courteous manner and obey all traffic regulations and Company safety policies.
- Demonstrate effective customer service skills.
- Accurately perform any other duties as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.
Qualification/Skills:
- A clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- Requires the ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment, initiative and problem solving skills.
Physical Demands
- Must regularly lift over 70 lbs. and maneuver loaded hand truck – approximately 200 lbs)
- Must be able to reach, pull, twist, bend, and stoop
- Extensive walking in and out of accounts and riding in vehicle is required.
- Must be able to talk and hear to communicate with both internal and external customers.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
