Senior NPI Technician

The Senior NPI Technician will work directly with ATL engineers to support the NPI Process. Including the design of new product and the transfer of production lines between ATL sites or customer to ATL site.

What you will be doing:

The Senior NPI Technician will support prototypes creation using 3D printing, assembling, machining, soldering, and any other necessary manufacturing step. They will conduct environmental and performance qualification test planning, test fixture design, test execution, creation of test reports, root cause analysis, and report findings.

The Senior NPI Technician will perform and/or supervise testing, data collection and analysis, research, and prototype creation. They will coordinate activities and product development with internal partners and external suppliers. They will also support equipment installation and qualification.

Travel both domestically and internationally as needed.

What we expect from you:

Our ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent at a minimum, and 10+ years of experience on catheter manufacturing process development or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical, electronic, sub-system and system design. They will also have experience with CAD software (Solidworks preferred).

The ideal candidate will need to have the ability to define problems, organize, evaluate, and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Experience with medical device assembly, machine shop, 3D printing and connectors is a plus. Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
