Position Title: Senior Service Fixtures Design Engineer

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Physics, or Chemistry).
More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing fixture design.
More than 5 years of CAD experience.
3D modeling certification or related associate degree.
More than 3 years of machining experience.
Experience working in a regulated industry aligned with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
Conceptual and Detailed Design: Lead and create conceptual and detailed designs of fixtures using 3D CAD software, considering ergonomics, efficiency, safety, manufacturing work instructions, drawings, proposals, and technical reports.
Product and Requirements Analysis: Review medical product designs and technical specifications to identify fixture requirements.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with multiple cross‑functional teams (product, manufacturing, operations, and others) to ensure proper integration and functionality of fixtures.
Project Planning and Execution: Plan and execute fixture design projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements.
Material Selection: Select and approve suitable materials and components considering strength, durability, compatibility, and manufacturing process requirements.
Technical Documentation: Prepare, oversee, and approve complete technical documentation (SOPs, TVLs, ITRs, etc.), including CAD drawing releases, bills of materials, assembly instructions, and procedures for designed fixtures and engineering builds. Provide training to staff on new equipment.
Technical Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues related to the design, construction, and use of fixtures.
Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement improvements in fixture design and construction processes to optimize efficiency and quality. Lead and ensure planning, management, and direction of change control processes.
Supplier and Resource Management: Manage resources and suppliers for the procurement of materials and components required for fixture construction. Oversee and control purchase orders for materials or machining subcontracting.
Project Communication and Follow‑Up: Provide assertive communication on project progress to stakeholders and monitor the completion of objectives.
Design Team Leadership: Lead fixture design teams to achieve common objectives and ensure the quality of work.
Company Culture Contribution: Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in fixture design and manufacturing.
Mentorship: Guide and support junior designers in developing their skills and knowledge.
Other duties as assigned.
