Overview

AtkinsRéalis’ Major Projects division is in search of a Co-Operative Student to join a transformative transit infrastructure project in Toronto. The Co-Operative Student role will be part of a high-performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best-for-project vision.

The role will report to the Construction Management Team.

Your role

• Review proposals/specifications and drawings.
• Maintain document tracking logs and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain excel spreadsheets and graphs.
• Data monitoring and interpretation.
• Site visits and inspections.
• Assist engineers on design, method statements, and risk assessments.

About you

• 2nd or 3rd year in Civil Engineering and enrolled in Civil Engineering Co-op Program from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Knowledgeable in scheduling.
• Available for 8 months starting Summer 2026
• Able to read and understand project specifications and engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong work ethic and highly motivated.
• The ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
