Overview         

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director in Architectural Team to oversee the full project cycle, from concept design to construction execution. This role involves leading the team in the execution of local projects, ensuring accurate statutory submissions, and supporting tendering and construction stages.

Your role

• Lead an Architectural team effectively and proactively, responsible for leading the team in the execution of local projects.
• Responsible for the production drawings and specifications (presentation and working drawings); handle project from concept design to construction execution.
• Coordinate with other consultants/engineering disciplines; including collaborate with in house multi-design disciplines to coordinate the project design, prepare detail design drawings and documents for tendering purpose.
• Coordination of design requirements, processes and outputs, including work by external sub-consultants and stakeholder requirements.
• Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of drawing work, quality, layout and notes, as well as the coordination of drawings amongst the team and other disciplines.
• Responsible for statutory administration.
• Responsible for contract documentation, statutory submission, document production and Government discussions leading to approval.
• Take part in business development for the company actively and positively. Find new and maintain existing client relationships, and strive for repeat work from our clients.
• Managing tendering and award, provide construction support and administration as required by nature of project.
• Working with construction team to prepare submissions for Design and Build projects.

About you

• Experience with Institution projects and rail projects would be an advantage.
• Recognized degree in B.Arch, M.Arch or Dip.Arch with minimum 15 years post graduate experience in architectural practice.
• Professional Qualifications HKIA and registration ARB HK, with at least 12 years  post‑qualification experience. Authorised Person (List of Architects) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of local regulation, statutory and contract administration procedures, with minimum 12 years working experience of statutory submissions in HK.
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD / BIM would be an advantage.
• Good command in English.
