The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. This role serves as a key partner to the business, ensuring HR technology supports needs, enhances user experience, and drives operational efficiency. The HRIS Analyst will support system enhancements, integration and lead projects. They will support updates and patches, troubleshoot issues, maintain data integrity, and provide reporting and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
HRIS System Support and Maintenance:• Partners with all levels of management to analyze application design, functionality and workflows to identify enhancements and ensure overall application optimization.• Configure system modules, workflows, security roles, and business processes to meet operational needs.• Support Dayforce releases, patches, and system updates; assess impact and coordinate testing.• Maintain system documentation, including configuration decisions, process flows, and technical instructions.
Data Integrity & Reporting• Develop and document data integrity protocols for HCM systems. Utilize data audits and validation methods to proactively identify discrepancies and missing data. Recommend and implement corrective actions.• Develop, maintain and automate Dayforce reports and dashboards. Support compliance reporting and other data requests.
User Support, Process Improvement & Project Management • Provide Tier 2 support related to Dayforce functionality. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and Dayforce support.• Develop and deliver training materials, quick guides, and user documentation.• Support new system rollouts, enhancements and integrations, acting as the technical project manager and liaison between HR and other operational teams.• Collaborate with HR and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system utilization.• Analyze current state processes and recommend strategies leveraging Dayforce functionality.• Support other projects and tasks as assigned*
Minimum EducationRequired:• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in HR, IT, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum ExperienceRequired:• Three to five years’ experience configuring HCM systems, including hands-on support of Dayforce HCM.Preferred:• Experience with HCM tools such as, benefits administration, performance management, applicant tracking, learning management, compensation planning, payroll/Workforce Management and onboarding.• Dayforce forms and workflows and integrations.
Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesRequired:• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and data management skills• Strong knowledge of HR processes and legal requirements• Strong MS Office skills with advanced Excel skills, working with Pivot Tables, Formulas• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset• High level of attention to detail• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment Preferred:• Experience in Dayforce report writing, querying using SQL and XML strongly preferred.
