About this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with an agile squad to deliver solutions to meet the business requirements.
- Work closely with traders and front office teams to thoroughly understand their requirements and deliver solutions that effectively align with business objectives.
- Be proactive to take responsibility and have good communication with the team
- Be creative to propose a solution for better performance
- Coordinate with developers, DevOps and architects to present or review the solution and source code
- Provide feedback to improve Norms and Processes, and development techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Groovy, Python, RESTful & SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of data storage systems and message queue, such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, is preferred
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Github platform components, Nexus is preferred
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Good command of English
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a financial or enterprise software environment.
- Experience with the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol is an advantage
- A curious mindset with a passion for learning the financial market trading business and products.
