About the Team:

As an Automation Test Engineer who is passionate about seeing customer succeeded and ensuring best-in-class product quality, the objective of the role is to perform automation to enable E2E test data automation of the product and be the custodian of solution quality. With the Test Data Management team, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing team that is embarking on an on-going digital modernization effort.

As the project team ramps up, you will have the chance to help define and shape the vision of how the solution will be maintained and monitored to meet the business’ needs

Experience Level: 4 – 7 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Discuss with the Architect team/Test Leads to understand the data model and relationships

• Self/Peer Script Review with Test Architects

• Creating/Enhancing/Debugging/Run Scripts for Automation for data creation and data pipelines

• Finding solutions for data issues and error handling issues.

• Co-coordinating Test team members and Development team to resolve the issues.

• Handling changes and conducting Regression data set creation

• Prepare Status reports and communicate to various stakeholders

• Prepare Release Summary Reports to Manager

Primary / Mandatory skills:

• Overall – 4 to 7 years’ experience in Test Automation using python-based Automation tools.

• Experience with automation testing

• Automation knowledge on API test and API driven frameworks

• Exposure to python & playwright

• Hands on experience with GUI & API Automation using python and Java

• SOAP UI, Postman scripting and execution

• Should have knowledge in UNIX, Linux, SQL and Kafka

• Well versed in Rest API.

• Exposure to Framework development

• Good to have Telecom/BSS Domain/Test Data Management Exposure

Technical Skills: Python, JAVA, Maven, SoapUI, Postman, JMeter, ELK, Eclipse, Bitbucket, JIRA, playwright, Jenkins, git and DevOps

Additional information (if any): Willing to work in Shift Duties, Willingness to learn is very important as AT&T offers excellent environment to learn Digital Transformation skills such as cloud etc.

Certification: Good to have Automation Testing Certifications

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in computer science or related field.
