Job Description:

What you’ll do:

• Design, Development and Coding: Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies.

• Collaboration and Communication: Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.

• Testing and Debugging: Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting.

• Maintenance and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues.

• Deployment: Facilitate and support the software deployment process.

What you’ll bring:

An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.

Expert in multiple programming languages and business processes and design/develops/codes for very complex suites of applications. Impacts on coding and methodology best practices in a specific area of expertise. Leads improvement initiatives and innovation on the area of expertise. Identify technical strategy.  Design, develop/code, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring efficient delivery processes and production support with a focus on automation and industry best practices.

What you’ll need:

Our Principal Software Engineering, earns between $155,400 - $261,100 annually.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
