What You’ll Do

• Define and champion the technical product vision and strategy, grounded in customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence.

• Develop and prioritize the product roadmap in collaboration with business, engineering, architecture, UX, and other teams.

• Translate business objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for software engineering teams.

• Guide the development of complex, event-driven, and distributed platforms, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.

• Act as the voice of the customer, monitoring product performance and ensuring exceptional user experiences.

• Lead sprint planning, feature refinement, and serve as a subject matter expert for assigned product lines.

• Communicate technical concepts and delivery risks to non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.

• Own delivery discipline, tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and mitigating risks across multiple teams.

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years of experience leading technical product strategy, roadmap, and execution for complex, technology-driven platforms.

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, event-driven systems (Kafka), and distributed data stores (Cassandra or similar).

• Proven ability to partner with architects and engineers, ask the right technical questions, and make informed trade-off decisions.

• Experience defining non-functional requirements (scalability, reliability, latency, observability) and prioritizing platform investments.

• Strong communication skills—able to convey complex technical concepts to business stakeholders with clarity.

• Track record of successful product delivery in cross-functional, multi-team environments.

• Data-driven mindset, using metrics to inform decisions and measure product outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; relevant certifications a plus.

Our Lead Tech Product Mgr, earns between $143,800-$215,800 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
