Your Team
The Hosting Platform team supports the underlying infrastructure platform technologies that host critical ASX external and internal applications and services. The Hosting Platform team members are multiskilled and certified across enterprise level Virtualisation, Storage, Backup & Recovery, Containerization and Public Cloud technologies to ensure stability, scalability, performance, capacity, resilience and efficiency are maintained in our shared infrastructure platforms.
Your responsibilities
- Provide technical support including installation, configuration, maintenance, security and compliance of ASX’s Cloud Infrastructure.
- Implementation and support of ASX external and internal Cloud environments.
- Technical development. Environmental review.
- Upkeep of deployment pipelines and improvements.
- Operational Acceptance and input into Design and Architecture.
- Operational system availability targets are met or exceeded.
- Be aware of change management disciplines and adhere to this process for all system changes.
Your experience and qualifications
Must have
- Strong foundation in public cloud platforms and ecosystem (CI/CD integration, monitoring, etc).
- Strong skills and experience in Kubernetes troubleshooting, management and deployment.
- Experience in AWS cloud configuration, implementation, administration, maintenance and design. Excellent knowledge of cloud technologies, networking concepts and services. At least 2 years AWS experience is essential and or CloudOps AWS certification or equivalent.
- Experience with GitOps / infrastructure as code i.e GitLab, Helm charts, Terraform, Prometheus CI/CD pipelines etc.
- Scripting / programming languages: Bash, Go or Python.
- Experience in infrastructure support for application development and support teams.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Nice to have
- CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Cloud Native Policy Management - Kyverno
- Experience with Linux administration
- Prometheus implementation and support experience
- OTEL or other observability tooling
- Grafana dash boarding and administration
- Google Cloud Certification
- Routing, switching and firewalling experience
- Background in TCP/IP including load balancing and proxies
