Venturi Astrolab, Inc. (Astrolab) is pioneering new ways to explore and operate on distant planetary bodies. We design, build, and operate multi-purpose commercial planetary rovers to support humanity’s presence in the solar system. We are looking for organized, proactive people to support our growing team. 

Astrolab is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support team growth by assisting with interview scheduling, coordination, and candidate experience while also supporting core People Operations functions. This role partners closely with Recruiting and People Operations to keep hiring processes, on-site interviews, and People Ops workflows running smoothly.

*Employment in this role is contingent on Astrolab being selected as a winner of NASA’s LTVS program.*


What You'll Do:

  • Own end-to-end interview scheduling across multiple roles and teams in partnership with Recruiting 
  • Partner with recruiters and other teams to ensure interviews, on-sites, and candidate communications run smoothly 
  • Guide candidates through the on-site interview process, setting clear expectations and supporting a positive candidate experience 
  • Coordinate interview logistics, including on-site details and candidate travel when needed 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across People Operations and recruiting systems (Pinpoint, BambooHR) 
  • Assist with applicant tracking system and HRIS administration, including role closeouts, follow-ups, and candidate communications 
  • Own workflows tied to hiring, onboarding coordination, and early-stage employee setup 
  • Help identify opportunities to improve people operations nd recruiting processes 
  • Support intern interview coordination, onboarding logistics, and people operations touchpoints as needed 


What’s Prepared You:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent professional experience 
  • 1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, People Operations, HR operations, or administrative support in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Comfort working with calendars, scheduling tools, and basic reporting 
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in a changing environment 
Preferred 
  • Experience supporting high-volume interview scheduling 
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and people operations tools 
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment 
  • Strong judgment when balancing speed, accuracy, and candidate experience
