Astrion is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support our customer in Huntsville, Alabama.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance
- Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in related discipline with 3-10 years direct experience
- Shall have working knowledge of DoD Instruction 7000.14-R, "Department of Defense Financial Management Policy and Procedures
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations
- Use of CCaR to carry out financaial management duties
- Analyze budgeting and accounting reports
- Prepare funding documents and maintain a record of financial management documentation
- Create spend plans for future budgets
- Manage multiple appropriations to include RDTE, APA, and OMA
- Support Procurement and RDTE form (P+R) updates
