Job Title: Supply Chain PlannerJob Description

The main function of a Supply Chain Planner is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule. This role involves managing inventory tracking and coordinating data center equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities.
  • Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
  • Move data between systems, research purchase orders in SAP, update the inventory application, and contact sites for delivery confirmations.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Fast typing skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, procurement, purchasing, or logistics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to perform high-volume repetitive data entry with accuracy.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
  • Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials.
Work Environment

This role operates in a fully remote capacity, available to any U.S. time zone except Hawaii. It provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced data center build environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
