Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

The Supply Chain Analyst supports day-to-day supply chain planning and analysis activities by collecting data, preparing reports, and assisting with process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze supply chain data related to inventory, demand, suppliers, and transportation.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist with demand forecasting, inventory tracking, and replenishment analysis.
  • Monitor and help identify service or delivery issues.
  • Support supply chain projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and service improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, logistics, and finance.
  • Work closely with sales to understand customer performance, new product formats, and strategic initiatives for incorporation into monthly forecasts.
  • Help maintain accurate data in ERP and planning systems.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
  • Basic understanding of supply chain concepts such as inventory, demand, and logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI).

Work Environment

The work environment is collaborative, requiring close interaction with various departments such as sales, operations, logistics, and finance. The role involves using advanced software tools for data analysis and reporting, with a focus on improving efficiency and service quality. Dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $36.06/hr.
