Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements to ensure accuracy
• Month-End/Year-End Close: Lead or support the closing processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and subsidiary accounts to ensure accuracy
• Compliance & Auditing: Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls, assisting with internal and external audits
• Supervision & Mentoring: Guide and mentor junior accounting staff, reviewing their work for accuracy.
• Financial Strategy: Analyze financial data for trends to support forecasting, budgeting, and cost reduction recommendations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
