Job Title: Field Sales Representative

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a new delivery program. In this role, you will be instrumental in recruiting local businesses to become part of a delivery partner initiative. Collaborating with a Field Manager and other contractors, you will engage with prospective businesses, present the program, qualify participants, assist in the application process, and coordinate recruitment events.

Responsibilities

• Visit prospective businesses door-to-door within a two-hour driving distance.
• Present and pitch the program opportunity to potential business partners.
• Qualify businesses and guide them through the application process using Salesforce.
• Collaborate with the Field Manager to plan and host community recruitment events such as lunch and learns or townhall meetings.
• Engage with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive recruitment.
• Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce weekly to manage partner data and activities.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Experience in outside/field sales.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a sales or negotiation role is a plus.
• Professionalism and enthusiasm for collaborative work.
• High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving abilities for field applicants.
• Tech-savvy with experience in multiple systems and technology.
• Ability to travel up to four hours round trip daily.

Work Environment

The role requires traveling 4-5 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home on other days. Locations include Birmingham, AL as the primary site and Anniston, AL as a secondary site. The job involves significant driving and offers a commission structure based on partner conversions, along with mileage reimbursement and phone bill coverage.

This is a Contract position based out of Dothan, AL.

The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
