About this role

The Data Modeler designs, implements, and documents scalable data architecture and modeling solutions, including relational, dimensional, and semantic data models, deployed across on-premises and cloud environments. These solutions enable trusted, high-performance self-service analytics, enterprise business intelligence, and advanced use cases such as AI and machine learning.

The role ensures data structures are intuitive, governed, and optimized to empower business users while supporting the next generation of AI-driven tools and insights.

  • Partner with business stakeholders and application/solution teams to translate data strategy and requirements into end-to-end data solutions, including data flows and conceptual, logical, and physical data models across enterprise data platforms and tools.
  • Define, implement, and govern enterprise data modeling and design standards, tools, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and reusability of data assets.
  • Work proactively and independently to analyze project requirements, identify risks and dependencies, and clearly communicate issues and recommendations to support timely and successful delivery.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy across analytics solutions by validating and reconciling data between Power BI semantic models and the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive solutions and technical documentation to support transparency, knowledge sharing, and ongoing support.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting a diverse portfolio of data and analytics solutions with varying complexity and business impact.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL to perform data-analysis and writing ad-hoc queries (at least 5 years of experience).
  • Working experience with Power BI Stack (at least 4 years of experience).
  • Skilled in Data Modeling and Entity Relationship Diagrams.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • C1 level English or equivalent.
  • Good documentation and requirements engineering skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and with limited supervision.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Microsoft Fabrics
  • Experience designing data models that support AI and advanced analytics use cases.
