Position Summary:

The person is responsible for carrying out production activity effectively with optimum utilization of resources. The person is also responsible for on-time delivery of customer-ordered material.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Aligning assembly production activity in line with the production plan received from planning department.

·        Production confirmation in SAP with yield and rejection.

·        Manpower allocation as per skill matrix for daily plan achievement.

·        Responsible for multiskilling and training of manpower based on skill matrix.

·        Responsible for resolving quality issues and reduction in rejection, analysis and action plan for material rejection in assembly shop.

·        Responsible for achieving daily and monthly production targets.

·        Responsible for improving per person productivity.

·        Monitoring the routine maintenance of shopfloor machinery to avoid major breakdown.

·        Responsible for implementing the actions taken for customer complaints.

·        Responsible for initiating procurement action related to consumables and tooling.

·        Responsible for maintaining EHS norms in the production area and ensuring zero tolerance in safety.

·        Responsible for reducing WIP on shopfloor and maintain defined MTPT levels.

·        Lead the production team for activities like Lean, Kaizen and 5S.

·        Key initiative in new product development trials and observations, Line set ups.

Skills and Abilities Required:

·        SAP operating skills

·        BOM exploding knowledge

·        Manpower handling skill.

·        Line balancing skill.

·        Seven QC tools.

·        Basic safety knowledge.

·        Excel skills.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

1.    Diploma or ITI 

2.    Experience in similar capacity with minimum experience of 5-7 years.

3.    Experience in manufacturing industry.

4.    SAP knowledge is must.
