ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in access solutions, is looking for a Senior Research & Development Developer for ALCEA, a French designer of security solutions based in Villebon-sur-Yvette, France, created in 1995, which joined the ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions division in October 2022.
This division of the group aims to offer high-security products and services to critical infrastructures such as telecoms, energy, transport, industry, etc. Join our teams in Villebon-sur-Yvette and enjoy a culture that enables you to build a career you can be proud of.
In this position, you will actively participate in the development and evolution of our products, contributing your technical expertise and analytical skills.
As a Senior R&D Developer, you will have a high degree of autonomy to drive innovative and sustainable developments.
What you would do as our Senior R&D Developer
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Work in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with multiple departments (R&D, Product, Quality, Operations).
You would also:
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to the technical and functional consistency of projects across the organization.
• Actively participate in technical discussions, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a solid technical background in software development, with skills in C, C#, and Microsoft SQL.
• Is experienced with version control systems (SVN, Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Has experience in introducing new tools and processes in a software development environment.
• Holds an engineering degree or a Master’s degree in software engineering / computer science, with several years of hands-on development experience.
• Is fluent in French and English.
This role can be located in Lyon (69), Moulin (03), Lanester (56), Biot, Nice (06), or Villebon-sur-Yvette (91).
