Location: Rychnov, Czech Republic           

 

Currently we are looking for a Plant Manager to take over comprehensive management of the production plant in Rychnov nad Kneznou. We are looking for a strong managerial personality with strategic thinking and the ability to manage, coach and motivate a team of colleagues.

 

 

Purpose of the Job:

The job holder will be responsible for the complex management & P&L owner of the production plant, determine strategic development using modern tools of lean production.

 

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible areas with direct lead of manufacturing, H&S, Kazien, Facility& Sustainability, Customer Service, Logistic, HR, Technical department, Project management, Business development, operational purchasing, Maintenance
  • Responsible for Plant P&L
  • Managing through Business Unit Managers and heads of departments.
  • Determine KPIs and measure them on a regular basis.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Participate in strategic operation of plant.
  • Reporting to headquarter EEM (direct report to COO East Europe Manufacturing)
  • Responsible for plant strategic development and digital transformation
  • Communicate with customers, stakeholders.
  • Any other duties according to superior.

 

 

Education, Work Experience and Personal Qualities

  • Educated to University degree level in mechanical engineering or a related subject - advantage.
  • Experience of working in a multicultural team and in an international environment is essential.
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Self-motivated to solve problems, curious, focused, taking initiatives.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a management role.
  • Good team player who understands the importance of meeting deadlines and who thrives in a busy, challenging environment.
  • Strong analytical, strategy development and deployment skills, communications skills
  • Highly Proficient in all MS Office applications
  • Ability to take on responsibility, ownership and to work independently.
  • Prepared to travel internationally.
