ASRC Federal is seeking a part time temporary Business Development Junior Analyst to support its Growth Organization.

 

Description of Role

This role is intended to support personnel including BD Leads, Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, Solution Architects, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Volume Leads, and other personnel in efforts leading to a winning proposal.

The purpose of the BD Associate role is to perform basic tasks under the direction of the BD Lead, Capture Manager, or Proposal Manager or their designates. The role performs tasks that are valuable to BD pursuits and also more appropriate for a low-cost and junior-level role – perhaps even an intern-level role. This allows experienced personnel to perform more advanced tasks, thereby saving time, overall BD-related costs, and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of BD pursuits.

 

Required Skills

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of education

 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
  • Strong typing skills and speed (>50 words per minute for note taking in meetings) free of grammar, spelling, and typographical errors.
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in teams
  • Good time management and organizational skills, and ability to work under time pressure
  • Basic understanding of Government contracting and documents associated with Request for Proposals, e.g., Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statement of Work (SOW), Proposal Instructions (commonly Section L), Evaluation Criteria (commonly Section M)
  • Must have Basic familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Coordinates and maintains customer business relationships in domestic and/or international government markets. Identifies and develops opportunities for business expansion.
  • Updates opportunity status in opportunity tracking system of record. Leads/Participates in capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. Develops or helps develop capture strategy including business solution for pursuit of opportunities; identifies potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win; participates in bid and proposal activities.
