SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex). We are looking for a Groundskeeper to join our team.

Description:
- Cut grass, using walking-type and riding-type mowers
- Trim hedges and edge around sidewalks, flower beds and other structures
- Prune shrubs and trees to shape using shears, pole saws, and other hand tools
- Spread mulch and pine-straw
- Water flower beds or newly installed sod as needed
- Weed removal from flower beds and planters
- Post-storm clean-up including removal of fallen limbs and wind-blown debris
- Use a blower and vacuum mulcher to clear sidewalks, streets, and parking lots of debris
- Inspect, clean and account for all landscaping equipment
- Report all concerns to Grounds Lead/Manager
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must possess a Real ID or U.S. Passport
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle
- Must be able to operate zero turn lawnmowers, chainsaws, string trimmers, sprayers, hedge trimmers, rakes and shovels
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to lift, push, sit, strand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a drug and physical exam
