About this role

The NT Remote Locum Program (NTRLP) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led workforce program dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

What You’ll Need:

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months.
  • Current BLS / CPR certificate.
  • Current recognised Immunisation certificate.
  • Current Northern Territory Working with Children’s Card, or willing to obtain.
