Looking for a Cardiology nurse with previous experience that will be able to maintain a large volume of structural heart patients. The nurse in this role will work directly with patients who have been referred for potential heart procedures. Clinical Program Coordination includes, but is not limited to, evaluations, test scheduling, education of patients and families and triage work.

Responsibilities

Coordinate nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department.

  • Develop and oversee program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develop and document care plans and therapy programs.
  • Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.
  • May and direct nursing staff.
  • Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

 

Required Credential(s):

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart
    Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
    transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s):

  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
    hire.

Additional Preferences

Must have 5 years experience in Cardiology.  BSN
