Responsibilities

Ascension Sacred Heart Gulf is looking for a BC/BE Hospitalist physician in Port St. Joe, FL to cover PRN shifts from time to time.

The hospital features a 24-hour emergency department, as well as inpatient care, surgical services, diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and a helipad for Sacred Heart regional air ambulance service to provide rapid transportation of trauma and critically ill patients.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Board eligibility/certification in medical specialty required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
