About this role

Summary:

Responsible for CNC machine operations and quality control/inspections.

 

Duties:

    • Set up and operate CNC machines, DMG Mori Horizontal Mill.
    • Assist other CNC machine operators.
    • Learn other CNC equipment.
    • Perform routine maintenance on the equipment.
    • Learn to operate other CNC machines as necessary.

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 5 years minimum of CNC machine operator experience, specifically Horizontal Mill
  • Demonstrated background in machine shop operations.
  • Ability to read and understand basic G&M code.
  • Basic knowledge of cutting tools and perishable tools associated with common types of machining.

 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently throughout the day and up to 50 lbs. infrequently throughout the day.

Must be able to stand 100% of the day.

 

Working Conditions:

Climate-controlled warehouse

 

1st shift - 6:00AM- 2:30PM, Monday-Friday
