About the role:
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts that ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to build scalable test automation frameworks and enhance our continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts that ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to build scalable test automation frameworks and enhance our continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Ensure high-quality releases by integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and track issues to resolution.
- Continuously improve test coverage, speed, and efficiency. Mentor and support team members in best practices for automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Pytest.
- Solid programming skills in Java, JavaScript
- Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
