ABOUT THE ROLE
An Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role involves interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics, ensuring all work complies with local and national electrical codes, and maintaining a safe working environment. Electricians diagnose electrical issues, replace or upgrade wiring and components, and test systems to ensure proper operation. Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
 
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Performs processing and assembly operations of electrical sub assemblies until the finished product is made under the direct guidance of the manager.
  • Install distribution panels, circuit breakers, sockets and other electrical devices.
  • Performing repairing/maintenance works for electrical installations.
  • Draws up the necessary material, requesting that it be supplied on time with everything necessary for the execution of the work.
  • Maintain a safety-based attitude against electrical and non-electrical accidents that may occur during the execution of work.
  • After the execution of the tasks received, it is presented to the hierarchical superior, who verifies and approves the quality of the completed assemblies.
  • After the execution of the installation work in the field until the verification and commissioning, he has the obligation to perform the labeling of the work accordingly, depending on the situation at the work point.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the hierarchical superior/department director.
  • Strictly complies with internal procedures and local regulations in force.
  • Promotes mutual respect, collaboration and transparency within the department, in relation to other departments, as well as in relations with people outside the company and contractors.
  • Is responsible for immediately informing the responsible persons regarding any malfunction in the operation of the equipment with which the department carries out its activity.
  • Is responsible for the proper use of the work equipment from workplace.
  • Personally assist other jobs/departments within the team that may be necessary to fulfill the company's requirements.
 
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
  • Education: Completion of a qualified electrician course.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the same position.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems (power distribution, control systems, lighting, etc.).
  • Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment, with experience in hands-on wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Skilled with electrical testing tools like mustimeters and other diagnostics tools.
  • Experience in constructions/industrial electrical installations represents an advantage.
  • Holding an authorization recognized by local authorities (depending on the country) represents an advantage.
  • Having experience or knowledge regarding extra-low voltage cabling (CCTV, Access Control, Fire detection, Voice-Data cabling, Audio-Video cabling) represents a strong advantage.
