
Job DetailsJob Location: 14610 ARCHER DR - LAREDO, TX 78405Responsibilities:
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on residential construction projects and systems
Collaborate with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives
Oversee the end-to-end operations of construction from the plans/permits handoff to the final CO on all company projects, including but not limited to estimating, purchasing, construction and warranty work
Responsible for applying effective leadership techniques to the planning, design and construction phases of projects from inception to completion for the purpose of controlling cost, time and quality
Bring industry-leading expertise and best practices to benefit the company, projects, teams and financial results
Servant leadership, a team player with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
Consult with the leadership team on high-level construction strategy and help guide company financial acquisitions strategies
Responsible for supervising, managing, inspiring, and leading a mix of direct and matrix reports
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with values and culture
Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business and vision
Review and approve cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects
Present periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership
Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management
Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided
QualificationsQualifications:
Leadership skills to lead and Inspire teams to achieve their best and employees to follow through with plans and goals
Interpersonal skills to guide employers and work with the President of the company
Identify and resolve issues within the division
Time management to organize tasks and finish them on time
Written and verbal communication to get point across to a variety of people in the business and clients
Analytical thinking to arrive at conclusions after analyzing data and information
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
At least 10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
