JOB SUMMARY:
A Lead Infrastructure Specialist at Argano plays a vital role within the organization and is responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure. They ensure the stability, performance, and security of an organization's infrastructure. This position requires a combination of technical expertise and leadership skills to manage a team and support the company's technology needs. They collaborate with other team members and play a mentor role to other positions within the infrastructure family.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·Plan, design, and implement infrastructure solutions to meet business needs.
·Oversee the installation, configuration, and support of infrastructure.
·Assess and recommend infrastructure upgrades or changes to improve performance and efficiency.
·Lead standard infrastructure projects and provide technical guidance to the team.
·Resolve escalated infrastructure issues and incidents.
·Manage infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.
·Supervise and mentor a team of infrastructure specialists and technicians.
·Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance to team members.
·Manage and maintain infrastructure, including operating system updates, patch management, and security measures.
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
·A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field expected.
·Master's degree or PhD in computer science or software engineering preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
·From 5 - 10 years of experience in infrastructure positions/services
·Advanced knowledge of infrastructure components.
·Experience in infrastructure management.
·Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., OCI, Azure, AWS) is beneficial.
·Previous experience working with multiple projects.

- Advanced Security: Implementation and management of advanced security measures.
- Performance Optimization: Proactively optimize infrastructure performance. Capacity planning and resource optimization.

- Emerging Technologies: Ability to stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to infrastructure.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effective communication with stakeholders and management. Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic infrastructure issues. Basic problem-solving skills in a team environment.
