Job Title: Facilities Supervisor

Department: Operations

Reports To: Facilities Manager/GM

Status: Non-Exempt

Date: Nov 2023

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour


Broad Functions: Responsible for repairing and maintaining all aspects of the stores. These tasks are to be performed in a timely and professional manner to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction. The associate will be responsible for the appropriate use of facility equipment to minimize loss, waste, injury, and fraud.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the stores.
  2. Respond promptly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise.
  3. Maintain tools and equipment needed to do the job in good condition. This includes cleaning, organizing, and maintaining all storage closets and work areas.
  4. Follows all security guidelines for outside repair vendors including checking of airport badges or responsibility for escorting non-badged repair personnel on premises.
  5. Responsible for progress of outside repair personnel.
  6. Responsible for the delivery of all invoices to be paid directly to GM as work is completed.
  7. Assist in receiving and providing repair estimates as required by General Manager of the property. GM or Regional must approve all work before starting repairs.
  8. Complete opening and closing checklists as required.
  9. Inform the GM immediately of new maintenance issues.
  10. Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
  11. Return all items used during your shift to the proper place, clean and organize all work and storage areas.
  12. Meet with manager upon arrival to discuss shift set-up and check out with manager before leaving to ensure duties are completed.
  13. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.


Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Must be familiar with basic food service equipment and basic maintenance functions.
  2. One-year experience working in building maintenance.
  3. High school diploma preferred.
  4. Verbal and written communication is essential.
  5. Experience in dealing with problems involving equipment issues.
  6. Brand Certification as required (can get brand certified).
  7. Valid State Driver’s License required.
  8. Must be able to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and / or holidays.
  9. Must be able to get badged by the airport authority.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, use hands and fingers, communicate verbally, and hear. Ability to walk for extended periods to visit multiple unit properties. The associate is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, taste, and smell. The associate is also occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and either lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time.
