Responsibilities

Assist Registered Nurse and physician in determining the health status and health needs of patients based on interpretation of health-related data and preventative health practices, in collaboration with patients, their families, and other members of immediate healthcare team.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current License as an LVN in the State of Texas
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Certification as a Certified Medical-Surgical Nurse (CMSRN).

  • High School (or GED equivalent) diploma. 

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Previous acute care experience preferred
  • Completion or proof of an IV Therapy course/certification
