- Lovelace Women’s Hospital has 120 licensed beds, including a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct customer service and front desk assistance for assigned departments, including but not limited to admitting, registering, scheduling, and verifying insurance.
- Handle customer account transactions, provide customer assistance, and perform and/or oversee cashiering operations.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of previously related experience.
- Medical Terminology Knowledge.
- Knowledge of insurance plans.
- Knowledge of office procedures
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in a related field of study.
- Previous medical office experience.
- Heart Saver.
