Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing functions under the direct supervision of a registered and licensed Radiologic
- Technologist.
- In addition to positioning patients' radiographic exams, the aide is also responsible for preparing
- exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and contrast medications. Must possess outstanding customer service skills.
- Must flex to accommodate volumes.
- When a radiology student clinical intern is on site and working as an employee of the Diagnostic Imaging
- Department.
- The Radiology clinical intern must not make any radiation exposures in accordance with the Texas Board
- of Medical Radiologic Technology.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in Amarillo College Radiography Program.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

What you'll do
- The intern is responsible for performing functions under the direct supervision of a licensed Radiologic Technologist, which includes positioning patients for radiographic exams. Additionally, the role involves preparing exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and contrast medications.
