You maybe required to be on campus&nbsp;5 days a week&nbsp;in some cases,&nbsp;based on teaching and meeting requirements. Our diverse academic team includes experienced academics, practitioners, and industry professionals, all focused on preparing students with discipline knowledge and practical skills for real-world careers.</p><hr><blockquote><p><strong>About the Opportunity:</strong></p></blockquote><p>We are currently looking for a Lecturer in Psychology to join our Department of Psychology - UG. In this role you will be required to contribute to the development and delivery of our programmes. You will:</p><ul><li><p>Deliver excellent teaching, learning and support to our students.</p></li><li><p>Lead and develop modules, ensuring high-quality learning materials and curriculum development.</p></li><li><p>Design excellent digital teaching material ensuring that content and methods of delivery meet defined learning objectives.</p></li><li><p>Undertake assessment marking, design authentic assessments, and provide high-quality feedback.</p></li><li><p>Manage your own teaching activity and reflect on practice and development of skills, with support/guidance as needed.</p></li><li><p>Undertake administrative activities to support teaching and learning activities.</p></li><li><p>Actively contribute to School level activity.</p></li></ul><hr><blockquote><p><strong>About You:</strong></p></blockquote><p>To be successful as a Lecturer in Psychology you will need:</p><ul><li><p>An MSc or equivalent qualification in Psychology, with Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS).</p></li><li><p>Experience in teaching, learning, and assessment practices in Higher Education.</p></li><li><p>A track record of successfully contributing to programme teams and being an inspiring and creative lecturer.</p></li><li><p>AdvanceHE Recognition - FHEA or willing to achieve within 12-18 months.</p></li><li><p>We encourage applications from those with experience teaching across the core BPS curriculum and especially with a focus on Research Methods and Clinical Psychology.</p></li></ul><p><em>Highly Desirable Criteria:</em></p><ul><li><p>&nbsp;A PhD (or close to completion) in Psychology or a closely related subject.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><hr><blockquote><p><strong>Why Arden:</strong></p></blockquote><p>At Arden, you will become a part of a passionate and dedicated team who are committed to removing unnecessary barriers to learning and making education more accessible.
