Our goal is to equip our students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring they are fully prepared for employment upon graduation</p><hr><p><strong>About the Opportunity:</strong></p><p>As a Board member with expertise in <strong>educational psychology and applied learning contexts</strong>, you will bring <strong>practical, sector‑specific insight</strong> into how psychological theory is applied to support learning, development, inclusion, and wellbeing across educational and related settings.</p><p>You will help ensure that teaching, learning, and student development reflect <strong>how educational psychology operates in practice</strong>, including the realities of working with learners, educators, families, and multidisciplinary systems.</p><p>This role spans a range of <strong>education and learning‑focused sectors</strong>, including:</p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Educational psychology services and local authorities</p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Schools, colleges, further education and higher education providers</p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) services</p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Children’s services, youth services, and early intervention</p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Education policy, advisory, and support organisations</p><p>This is a <strong>strategic advisory role</strong>, not a formal governance position.
