The Middle School English Language Arts Teacher is responsible for providing engaging, rigorous instruction in reading, writing, grammar, and literature while fostering a classroom environment rooted in Catholic values. The teacher supports the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of students and promotes a love for reading, effective communication, and critical thinking. The ideal candidate integrates faith into daily instruction and contributes to the mission of Catholic education.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid teaching credential or certification appropriate for middle school ELA.
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Strong knowledge of ELA content, literacy instruction, and adolescent learning.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to use instructional technology to support learning.
Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to schoolwide initiatives.
