The mission of the Office of Youth Ministry is to equip leaders with the necessary tools, training, formation, and events in order that all young people hear the Gospel message and be empowered to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our parishes and in our world.
The Coordinator of Events plays a key ministerial and administrative role overseeing the planning, execution, and reconciliation of major youth ministry events. Working collaboratively as a member of the Office of Youth Ministry team, this position applies strong organizational and analytical skills to ensure events are strategically coordinated and grounded in pastoral care and hospitality. The coordinator serves as Conference Director for Steubenville STL Mid-America 1 & 2 and provides shared leadership in the hiring, training, and supervision of 2–4 summer intern
The Coordinator of Events coordinates the logistical and administrative operations for Office of Youth Ministry events—including Steubenville STL Mid-America, Summit, trainings, and other initiatives—serving events that range from 25 to 5,000 participants. Responsibilities include:
