Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
St. Francis Borgia High School, a Catholic college-preparatory high school, seeks a responsible, dependable, and safety-conscious Bus Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for students. The bus driver will transport students to and from school, athletic contests, field trips, and other school-sponsored activities while supporting a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered environment.
Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes and to athletic events, field trips, and other school-sponsored activities
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during loading, transport, and unloading
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with state regulations and Archdiocesan requirements
Maintain accurate records including mileage, trip logs, passenger counts, and any maintenance or safety concerns
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, school policies, and Archdiocesan guidelines
Supervise student behavior on the bus and address concerns appropriately, reporting incidents to school administration when necessary
Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, coaches, teachers, and school staff
Keep the bus clean and orderly and report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns immediately
Maintain all required licensing, certifications, and compliance with drug/alcohol testing as required by law
Valid Missouri Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements
Clean driving record and ability to pass all required background checks
Minimum age of 21 years
Previous experience driving a school bus or commercial vehicle preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends
Physically capable of performing bus inspections and assisting students as needed
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education; practicing Catholic preferred but not required
