Strategic Alignment:

  • Collaborate with thread architects and Government thread leads to assess whether initiatives fit within the strategic roadmap and adjust as necessary.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Facilitate collaboration between program managers, engineers, risk managers, schedulers, and other stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for solution epics, ensuring effective communication and coordination across teams.

Agile and JIRA Expertise:

  • Utilize agile methodologies and tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence to manage and track the progress of solution epics.
  • Break down complex initiatives into manageable workstreams and ensure clear visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor and report on the progress of solution epics, identifying and addressing any obstacles or challenges.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, align expectations, and address emerging needs.
  • Provide high-level updates and presentations to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Mentorship and Leadership:

  • Serve as a mentor and leader for junior team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Advocate for best practices in solution management, systems engineering, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Solution Epic Owner is instrumental in driving the success of organizational initiatives by ensuring that solution epics are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with strategic objectives.
