About this role


Responsibilities

The Sponsor is dedicated to providing Information Technology (IT) solutions to the Customer and Intelligence Community known as Mission Partner.  As a Working Capital business enterprise, the Sponsor does not receive Congressional appropriations; it relies primarily on pricing of products and services in order to achieve full cost recovery from mission partners for services provided.

 

The Sponsor requires a Systems Integrator (SI) with experience and expertise in working within the organization's structure.  The SI will develop, monitor, and modify all workflow processes.

 

The SI will also be responsible for understanding and using a variety of Sponsor systems required for implementing work to be performed by the Customer including Projects, Tasks, Change Requests, Incidents and other enterprise tools.

 

The SI will participate in activities surrounding licensing negotiation, ordering, tracking, and delivery.

  • Processes orders and tracks procurements for voice related equipment
  • Processes for storing, tracking, and delivering equipment to and from warehousing facilities
  • Processes for Property Turn In for retired equipment
  • Processes for scheduling design reviews
  • Processes for communication with specific mission partners prior to implementation
  • Processes for communication and approval of implementation activities through IT Operations and Global Operations and Implementation Group
  • Document and publish meeting discussions and management of shared drive structure
  • Organize and guide activities related to site surveys and marketing efforts for the projects
  • Interact with Global Operations and Implementation Group on planning and progress of network deployments to support planning efforts
  • Plan, organize, and document regular and ad hoc meetings 

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline  
  • BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 10+
  • Ability to fully coordinate master project schedules  
  • Ability to coordinate information flow between all programs and organizational managers
  • Ability to establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware and software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem
  • Provide a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, and top-level managers in the coordination and planning of programs  
  • Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
