That's why we need you, a Systems Engineer to provide the technical guidance and oversight in support of the customer's Integration, Verification, Validation & Test (IVV&T) function. You will support a Joint customer Program Office responsible for acquiring the future GEOINT Ground Architecture that will provide the user community with capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information. This position supports a hybrid agile process with the Government as the overall integrator.  The customer environment is comprised of a variety of commercial and custom tools, including Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Zephyr, and requirements verification tools.  

 

As a Systems Engineer Technical Specialist, you will lead and/or support a wide-range of Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) and programmatic activities, to include:  
 

  • Provide leadership and direction for SE&I across all customer program office IVV&T activities, including test planning, scheduling and integration, cross-program coordination in support of verification, test case analysis, test witnessing, applying automated testing concepts, and interacting with cross-component activities to ensure end-to-end requirements tracing through sell-off and reporting, 
  • Synthesize customer needs, requirements, and technical, schedule and cost constraints into recommendations and solutions for integrating, testing, evaluating, and transitioning systems into operations to deliver enterprise capabilities, 
  • Create, review/analyze, and coordinate a myriad artifacts, strategies, plans, ConOps, schedules, risks, Request For Change (RFC) documents, requirements, requirements traceability, test-related content, briefings, tasker responses, etc.,  
  • Assist in the planning, management, review, execution, and improvement of related-enterprise and component-level SE&I agile processes 
  • Perform assessment and consultation on various mission, domain area, and technical products and activities as needed.  

 


Qualifications

Required skills: 

  • Must possess and be able to maintain TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly 
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Experience working in government or industry in relevant SE&I, including IVV&T, work areas including: the IC acquisition and requirements processes, execution of requirements derivation, decomposition and sell-off; software test planning and scheduling, management, and integration; automated testing 
  • Experience authoring, reviewing, and coordinating a variety of technical documentation to include Request For Change (RFCs), Test plans and schedules, context diagramming with respect to test events  
  • Demonstrated experience with, and understanding of, the systems engineering life cycle, governance processes, and project management 
  • Experience and ability to work collaboratively with mission partners and stakeholders across organizational boundaries 
  • Great customer teaming skills: ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams 
  • Accomplished written communicator and presenter 
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and accomplish a wide variety of tasks 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Atlassian Jira and Confluence 

 

Desired skills: 

  • Experience with TestRail or Zephyr test tools 
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira Roadmaps
