Responsibilities

What if you could find a position that is tailor-made for your mix of test, engineering, and communication skills? We need you, a proven Systems Engineer, to help us shorten the time it takes to get critical systems developed, tested, integrated into the customer's enterprise and operational to support the Warfighter. As a Systems Engineer, you will be an integral member of a contractor team working enterprise test and system engineering tasks for both legacy and new/emerging GEOINT systems. You will be staff in a Government Program Management Office as SETA and tasked to support the customer’s mission by: coordinating with system developers and engineers in planning and supporting enterprise test events, reviewing ground architecture and system integration plans, assessing system and segment schedules and risks, leading system readiness and release planning events, supporting agile test and DevSecOps verification strategies and the integration of new cloud and on premises systems. You will have frequent and direct interface with senior customers.

Qualifications

 

Required:

This position requires an understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering support of end-to-end mission and services closure.

  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Poly.
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering V curve
  • Strong working knowledge of Confluence and Jira
  • Strong working knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology
  • Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, CONOPs development, and system integration within to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering
  • Commitment to recognize, understand, respect and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority
  • Electronic Protection (EP)

Desired:

  • Technical familiarity with one or more GEOINT systems
  • Prior experience with GEOINT ground mission processing or mission control systems, and/or mission operations is highly desired.
