Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an asset Minimum 6 years relevant experience in structural design Registered P. Eng in British Columbia, title of Designated Structural Engineer will be an asset Registration in other provinces is an asset. Knowledge and understanding of Canadian design standards and codes Knowledge of US codes and standards is an asset Ability to lead teams consisting of multiple engineers and CAD staff Proficiency and understanding of structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, Robot, SAP2000 is expected Experience with Microsoft Office and software such as Bluebeam is expected Knowledge of 3D BIM is an asset such as REVIT & Navisworks Strong project management and coordination skills with a strong ability to lead the structural design of projects. You will work in a multi-disciplined team environment and will be expected to demonstrate a collaborative attitude in working with members of the team Ability to confidently relate with all levels of staff and clientele - Internal and External Excellent work ethic and desire to succeed Effective communication in the English language (verbal and written)
