Job DetailsJob Location: South Park - Littleton, CO 80122Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Title                                                                                    Utility Sep-24 FLSA Status – Non Exempt                                                                                          Summary Keeps production room and outside trash compactor area picked up and clean.  Uses hydraulic baling machine and trash compactor to dispose of rags and trash.  Stores seasonal merchandise and maintain storage room.  Keeps area surrounding store clean.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities Keeps production area floor clear of donations and uses the bailing machine to form rags weighing up to 500 lbs., stacks bales safely in undesignated area. Removes trash from the production area so it does not pile up. Loads and operates the trash compactor. Notifies management when compactor is reaching capacity or requires service. Maintains a neat and orderly storage room. Moves storage form the production area to the storage room daily. Stacks storage materials to avoid damage. Brings storage from the storage room to the production area for processing upon request. Informs management when the supply of hangers is getting low. Retrieves merchandise from hard to reach areas. Receives donations at the back door or as needed and provides receipts. Carries purchased items to customer vehicles. Keeps production area free from safety hazards by cleaning up spills, picking up items from floor.  Performs janitorial tasks in absence of a store janitor. Keeps grounds and sidewalks neat and clean. Performs minor and routine repairs. Assists in moving and setting up/ breaking down display racks, signs, ect. Assists in loading and unloading trucks. Performs other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments, which may be outside the primary area of employment. Reports to the store manager or supervisor.   Qualifications Knowledge, Skill and Ability Knowledge of styles and trends. Ability to observe the production process and to communicate with the supervisor and other team members to keep the production process moving. Ability to present a positive company image and be courteous to customers Ability to work as a productive member of a team.   Education and/or Experience Required Experience working with a diverse workforce. Ability to work with individuals possessing developmental disabilities. Ability to use good judgment. Energy to take on fast-paced work. Good listener.   Physical Demands       Works inside in a production and retail environment. Exposure to temperature fluctuations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, stand and move throughout the store. Use upper body strength to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and move up to 500 pound rag bales with assistance of a dolly.  Frequently pushes and pulls donation carts weighing up to 30 pounds with assistance. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to dust from donations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, bending and stooping and occasionally walking.
