Job DetailsJob Location: San Diego Office - San Diego, CA 92108Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $27.00 - $32.50 HourlyArcs Recruiter will possess a positive, professional disposition to support staffing and recruitment efforts at arc. This individual will be solutions-oriented and willing to pitch in where necessary to keep operations on track to achieve organizational goals. Our Recruiter will be responsible for full cycle recruitment of North Region program vacancies. Full Cycle Recruitment Essential Functions: Taking the hiring managers job requisition Develop a clear understanding of job descriptions and identify must-haves and nice-to-haves for hiring needs Lead sourcing efforts for recruitment Place job listings for the roles on job boards, branch into social media advertising needs and develop community resource Screening candidates and preparing Schedule interviews and acquire feedback Make job offer to finalists and negotiating its details with them Preparing the hire to start the job Duties/Responsibilities: Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process. Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Communicate and execute job posting needs and advertisement processes. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions. Generate open position reports. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsQualifications: 2+ years of solid recruiting experience. Excellent interpersonal skills; strong, clear written and verbal communication skills. Computer and tech savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Ability to independently supervise tasks and support hiring managers. Ability to work collaboratively. Demonstrated professional attitude, approach, and commitment to integrity. Successful adeptness to multitasking and prioritizing tasks and projects. Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and resolve conflicts. Flexibility and ability to embrace change. Commitment to working toward the common goal of helping to provide experiential education to underserved young people at our various programs. High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelors Degree preferred.   Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, walk, stoop or kneel, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. Employee must be available during the core business hours and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
